Mike,
To be honest, I'm not really satisfied with my setup. I mounted a high output fan to the cooler that is mounted horizontally in the picture. I run the trans fluid through the radiator first then this cooler. If its hot outside and I beat on the car I can get the temp up to 200 pretty easily. I don't have the plastic shrouds that force the air through the radiator so my engine temps go up as well. I'm hoping that once I get some of those air shrouds it'll help both the trans and engine temps. I'm running a 3rd gen camaro aluminum radiator and this fan from permanent cool http://www.summitracing.com/parts/prm-19128/overview/. At first I bypassed the radiator cooler and that was way worse.
