sorry i never saw this post brought back up! i haven't been on the board as much this week due to thanksgiving...

yes sir! the reason why i was so rich was because my fuel pressure was too high when i ran back in september...i had it on 45 psi line off and also i found out that the translator was set to 10% rich at WOT instead of neutral...also later found out that i had a leaking intake manifold gasket and i ended up blowing it up completely...the intake gasket leak was a huge vacuum leak and was causing the slow spool...to counter what i did at the track before, i ran lower octane gas (112 this time), GRADUALLY built boost at the line up to 10 psi and ran a max boost of 27 psi with 02's in the 790's...no knock retard...plus the air temps were in the low 70's back then...when i ran earlier this month the air temp was 40:eek: but the intake gasket was probably STILL hindering my performance even at 11.5 @ 118...probably had a tenth or two left in it with a higher boost launch...

Don have you tried taking fuel out with your Translator?

yeah i think that was a major problem with my tune when i didn't realize my translator was set to 10% rich at WOT...oops:eek:
