Ya I plan on doing a new eng on the stand first of the year I just pop a head gasket and doing them so I was like maybe I'll put a cam in and do springs and valve seals want to run the car as I'm doing a nicer eng

If you will build a new engine in a year, leave the cam be. A set of ported heads is all you need to see a "change" in the car.
Again, leave the cam alone.

You can't just throw any cam into your motor if the heads are unmodified stock heads. They will only allow so much lift. If you want to go flat tappet you can use Brad Penn or Driven motor oil.

Ya heads are stock with a port job going to put better springs in them cuz I'm pulling them off the car now
