If someone was in your house and constantly talked crap to & about you, your family and friends how long would it take for you to throw them out?

What is up with the constant barrage of negativity on the staff of this board. There were a bunch of non vendors mentioned in this thread, that was not the problem. The problem is the constant NWS language, threats, and negative posts about the staff here. Like I said, Gary puts alot into this section and some guys always jump right on him. If he didn't like what was said just DON'T COME BACK. Don't take someone else's thread down the toilet over it. This had NOTHING TO DO with vendors one way or the other!

Shane,all you have to do is visit Harold's web site & you'll find the answer to all the problems caused on this board.I understand they are having a field day right now at my expense. What he can't manipulate or control he will try to destroy. That man is evil & twisted He has this group of idiots that he uses as attack dogs to undermine anything positive connected with this board. They are weak minded dupes & GN-1 performance is also behind it 100% Archie has had a jealousy problem with me for years. I have tried to be polite & respectful to him but he is of the attitude that no one has a right to work on Buick's but him.This married for life character is another one of Harolds plants.The word out is that I'm responsible for people getting tossed off this board.Nothing could be further from the truth .They are doing it to themselves & are now where they belong.Slowly but surely this quality board seems to be cleansing itself of scum & when that happens maybe some of the good people that they have driven off will return. My involvement here is one of support.Much of what I have to offer is free to my friends.I regret that it has to be this way but I have never ran away from a fight & have a good reputation & a legacy to protect.This is more important to me than any money.Consider me a semi retired mechanic trying to enjoy the last of my years & not a resale vendor. GN-1 perf has made it impossible to make any profit on parts. What they have not managed to do is steal talent & you wont find that offered at any discount from China.

Sod turned around a 3.8 with main caps & a 3.8 stroker motor main capped in 2 weeks for us.
Both JE pistons,decked, blue printed etc.
I have never seen 1 motor much less 2 done that fast.

Try JMS Racing in El Monte. Thats where I was for 7 years, and cant think of a better group of engine builders. They're one of the main builders for all the hot rod mags out there and have built winning engines in just about every circuit imaginable. Probably a collective 150 years of machining/building experience in there. The website is still under construction so dont judge them by that.
As far as Harold being the pied piper, leading all the ignorant down some road of delusion, the only thing Harold ever said to me about Lou, was that he gave me Lou's number and told me he was damn good with buicks...and this was when Lou and Harold werent on speaking terms. He was pissed at Lou, and still referred business to him. I form opinions based on my own experiences. Anyone who hasnt met me, but believes whatever they hear about me anyway, isnt someone I want in my rolodex.

Yeah its amazing how many line hones I had to fix that other shops sent us...not just that but alot of other work as well. Did plenty of line bores as well when going with steel caps. You seriously cant go wrong with JMS. When someone ****s up 3 times, they get fired. They take their work seriously. You'll never hear them admit that to a customer though...that they fire employees that make mistakes. They have a very nice DTS dyno cell as well. We were building alot of top sportsman and winston west (1 step below nascar) motors back around the time I left, and the top sportsman ones were 350 small blocks that were restricted to a 390cfm 2 barrel, a flat tappet cam and a whole bunch of other restrictions that were ridiculous. We were pulling 430hp out of those engines and no one could come close. By the end of the first racing season, the top 7 placers all had our engines. Theres a million little "details" that can make 1 engine out of a seemingly identical match, run alot harder than the other one. And they know all those tricks...and yes, they can line hone, lol...

Yup. You name the engine and they've probably done it. The only ones they dont do are rotary motors and old school flat 4 volkswagon motors...something to do with their warranty company not covering them because of reliability issues. They've been working with forced induction a very long time. JG Engine Dynamics is one of the biggest turbo import players out there, and they were the pioneers in that area. Before they had their own machines, they sent all their heads and blocks to us, and I did all the block work on those engines...alot of them were these tiny 1.8's making 450whp with nitrous and turbos, that were in these little sleeper honda CRX's and civics back before the rice element came to be...fart cans and triple decker wings and all that pok-e-mon BS. I remember turbo buick stuff coming in, but since I had quit in 96, there werent alot of them coming in yet since they were only 8-10 years old at that point. I set Harold up with them to have his heads done. He went through different sets of ported heads from different people with good reputations (after seeing this work I couldnt understand why the reputation was good at all...HORRIBLE work...the installed height of all the valves would vary by .100", as well as the "port" job having ports that varied not only in size by 1/8", but whose locations were all over the place..and that was only the beginning....carbon pockets everywhere with embedded glass beads all over)...anyway he finally gave JMS a shot and the price was almost half what others were charging and the work was excellent. He says the heads made the biggest difference out of anything on the car. They steelabrated and magnufluxed them, ported the exhausts, threw in stainless steel valves, new springs and dialed in the seat and open pressure on the nose, seals, serdi radiused performance seat cut, 3 angle back cut on all the valves (time consuming),...cant remember if there was any guide replacement, but it was alot of work for like 590 bucks and everyone else was charging like 900 for crap work I wouldnt put on a taxi cab.
As for Harold, everyone says they're glad he's gone and saying all this crap, but everyone seems to want him around by keeping him alive on these boards every day. Its been a long time since he got banned, but he's still being talked about constantly. Is it all just smack talking for fun on the net, or does anyone ever say anything directly to him? Saying **** on a board that he cant use to tell his side is kinda lame....

he has caused trouble where ever he goes, that is why he was banned.
now the other Harold dummy was banned, ( yea!!)
and I hear he has sought simpathy on other boards, but isn't getting any!.
so that brings us to todays lesson....

funny, I read all the gn boards, but for some reason I can not access the
so calgn board, (yet he says they don't ban anyone!) no big loss. as one one with a brain believes anything from there.

I may check out the shop you recommend . as I have been using Zimmerman. but this is closer.
