Let me preface this by saying it was my fault for not getting delivery confirmation. I've always had good dealings on ebay.
I sold some items to a guy in Miami, he paid via PayPal, and I shipped the item. I shipped it cheaply (again, my fault), parcel post and forgot to get delivery confirmation. Post office says 10-14 business days. I think everything will go smoothly. Of course it doesn't. He files a complaint on the 10th day and PayPal refunds his money a day later. They didn't even wait until the 14th day. I don't have a deliv. confirmation, so I have no proof it was sent, just my word. I e-mail him saying have a little patience etc etc. He never responds. I guarantee he has the package and he got his money back. I send more e-mails stating, just send the package back or toss the money back in the account, no response.
So I decide to do some investigating. I use the address I sent the package to. End up being a business in Miami located in a string of warehouses it seems (google maps). I find the name of the business and call said business looking for the guy whose name I sent the package to. No one by that name works there. Call again using the name on his g-mail address, same thing. Wish I had the time to fly down there and look into this more.
Oh well, my fault I guess. Live and learn? I just hate dishonest people/thieves.
Wish I could find the guy or at least get in touch with him.
