Well I strapped in an m10 and switched to 100% rubbing alky and I got 24psi with no knock right on the money. :) Car still doesn't feel all that fast yet though...o2's are 816, 0 kr, blm's get locked at 128 with my chip. Should I lean this sucker out a little or am I looking good? How much does an alky chip help out? I'm starting to wonder if my turbo is really a te-60

whats wrong with denatured alcohol solvent,

you say 100% but as far as i know rubbing alky (isopropyl) is a mix of alky + water, usually 70/30 mix.

as far as leaning youll have to try a little at a time and watch your progess(timeslip) and knock , having the run recorded on DS is a big help in spotting the signs that you are approaching lean before the KR gets high
as for the 816 it would seem rich but all cars are different and O2s sensors arent the best , if i was at 816 I'd be so rich it wouldn't spool and my shifts would hangup at the top , i like to run in the 760-770 range but have also run well at the 740-750 range , i found it better for me to go by egt to see where its going and run good at around 1530 dF

Nothing wrong with denatured. I can just get the iso. cheaper. And regular is 70/30 but I can get 90/10. So it's not 100% but it's closer then the 50/50 I was running before :D I'm gonna try to lean it out a little and see how it runs. I'm just glad I got the alky on the road to working right. Thanks to everyone who has helped me out with this stuff!
