I installed a Greddy Profec B-spec II Boost Controller and was about to install my new HD wastegate actuator but realized that my minumum boost setting (0% on the greddy unit) would be whatever the spring rate is on the actuator, correct?
im 99% positive this is true but i would just like to make sure before i get the car back up and running again.

ill probably be selling this TE style HD actuator very quickly if i have no use for it.

well since no one was absolutely sure i took the car out tonight after i finally put some things back together.
had the set boost and gain @ 0% for a test drive. hits 14psi every time no matter what. this boost controller is phenomenal!!! and yes 0% is your stock spring pressure ;)
for all those who are on the fence about electronic boost controllers. . . just get one. i dont have the 2-4 psi variation depending on temperature anymore. which is what you get with a MBC sometimes.

boost controler

Could you please send me the link to the company that you got yours from? I tried the B&E customs web site from the turbobuick main page and some other crap popped up and I even typed in (boostcontroler) and still nothing.. please post the link.. Thank you, Scot w.

i got mine off of ebay. ebay always has these listed. they are usually a lot cheaper than what you would pay for with any one else.

been running one since 98 they rock. turn the knob more boost  set the hi boost selection for my race gas tune. no need to mess with it.
