Pumps dont die.. something else happened. More than likely trash got into the pump. I have seen teflon tape shreads get into the valves, check valve cuase issue. Dirt, grit, etc.

The module whether used or not will not affect the pump or its ability to pump. Its a 12 volt motor. The only thing that will kill a pump is submerging it into water.. this will seize it.. and yes pump is dead. Or put gasoline in the alky tank.. this will shrink the diaphram and cuase it to leak out of the head..

Trash is another story.. get trash into its valve.. then it wont prime up or pump. This is why the LED is there, to confirm when things work or dont. While I have yet to see a bad valve in 3+ years of using it.. anything is possible. One the head is dis-assembled.. all usually becomes clear as to what happened.

Thanks for the info,I did think it would cause an issue but I figured it wouldn't hurt to ask.

Let me know what you find inside the head. The motor runs,so I suspect its trash like you said.

Was a little trash, took it apart, cleaned it out.. primed like a champ.. put it in a box.. out it went with a new set of plugs ;)
