Well to be honest its been a couple months since I tore my car apart to replace the front bumper fillers, well anyways got them painted and put in, got the grille put back in(took apart to paint radiator support. But I am scratching my head on how this dang long black plastic rubber/plastic flimsey piece connects to the bottom of the grille? I know I am missing my springs, gotta get some, but could someone help me out with a picture, I do much better with pictres than someone trying to explain it, but any help I can get I will take. I got the bottom of the flimsey platic piece mounted on the bottom of radiator support, just when I try to mount the other part to the grille, its seems to put my grille in a bind and I dont want to break the grille. So tell me what I am missing here. I have the grille and the correct plastic trim piece for the grille(forgot what it was called). Im just not getting it to go back together like it should.

Thanks

It attaches to the holes in the soft part extending at the bottom of the grille. I've eliminated this piece on all of my cars. It's supposed to direct air through the radiator for better cooling. I've never had even close to a cooling problem with these cars.

I got that part, now Im just trying to figure out were these stupid springs go. Someone said on the bottom corners of the grille and and connect to the bumper support, but I can't see where the connect to the grille at????

At each end of the grille, there is an indentation to catch the spring end. The other end goes to !/4" round holes in the top of the bumper re-enforcement, straight in front of the grille indentations.
