I am buying a used GT35R ( 600 miles, tree fell on car) for my Talon..What is the Buick version of this turbo and what exhaust housing would I need to run it on the Buick/Monte instead ? It has a bolt on 63 Mitsu housing on it now ...
I have a Limit GT6131 on my car now with a 2800 D5 converter.

The gt35 is a small turbo for our cars. Thats why you usually see them in twin kits for imports like the 350z.

wow... thats a decent turbo. I just know of a local guy with an APS twin gt35 kit that only made 600 at the tires.

GT35R pretty much is a ball bearing 61mm with a P trim exhaust wheel.

They name them funny things so that people don't figure out what the turbo really is and find it cheaper through PTE!!!

They need to crank the boost up then. Also you sure it was the GT30's?? GT35R's are base turbo for Viper twin kits.

GT35R turbine wheel is a curve pitch impeller turbine....much nicer then the P-trim's.

GT6131 you have uses a GT35R Compressor wheel. As mention someone else on this thread its approx equavalent to what would be a PTE 6152BB (as far as I know they don't make that combo in Ball bearing)
