I recent purchased a GT6152 turbo, suggest a 3k stall converter. If I'm not racing, can I continue to use my stock converter without any problems or draw backs. Can I tune my vehicle to make up for any lag.

If not can you purchase lock up 3k stalls for under $200.

Gbodyparts got a sale going on for Pat's converters.

You can use the stock but you will have some lag,it will pull hard once you spool:cool: Just breakdown and by one it will put a big smile on your face the 1st time you hit it!!!

I had a GT6152 for awhile and it definately needs at least a 3k min stall or it will be a turd off the line.

Boost controller

Will a boost controller like the one from RJC help eliminate that lag from the larger turbo "GT6152", using my stock converter. Or its still necessary to get a 3200 stall.

You need a coverter. The RJC boost controller helps but not that much. I think you may be pushing it with a 3200. That is the minimum to go with.

I have this turbo with the stock converter and it is pretty slow off of the line. It's been livable but the next upcoming purchase is definetly a converter. If you street race from light to light, it's not fun. What is fun is at the track when the other guy thinks he has you and you walk by like he's sitting still. I'm getting an Edge Racing converter lock-up 3400 stall for about $530. I've done my research and haven't heard anything bad about them yet. If anyone knows anything bad, please chime in.
