That's as far as I know, they were available on special order only, I believe, and there were some pics on his site. Looked pretty kool, and 17" 2ould definitely improve the aspect ratio for improved handling. Don't know about tire sizes & brands availability though.

What was done to the rims to get them looking so good? I will be selling mine at the end of this year, looking for something in 18". But I would like to do the fists of fiery to these to bring up the shine like yours. My rears have been widened to 16"x10" by G-Bodyparts.

Those painted white inners look really good on ur car.

You have to spend some time on them, if the aluminum lip is clearcoated that needs to be removed. Then you use progressively finer grits of sand paper till the machined finish that is from the factory is gone. Once you are up at like 1500 grit wet sand(iirc) I went to a polishing compound and used a buffing wheel chucked into a drill. This part takes awhile. If i remember correctly I went from like a rubbing compound to mothers polish and just buffed away. After awhile the compound turns black and you'll have to wash it off. Repeat as desired.

I have seen some people put the car on jackstands and let it idle in gear on a wheel without tire or valve stem and just used the sandpaper on it as it spun to speed up the process. Seems like a good way to get your finger ripped off though if you aren't careful.

Well tonight I finally installed the new GTA's. I love em. Handles great too. Thanks for the advice Gary, it worked out very well. The cap overlays from Mark at Turbo Custom Parts really made the wheels look like they were factory.

Robert:
Wow, I just can't believe how beautiful that car is now with the rims. Definitely brought out the "White Hunter, Black Heart" impact theory to the max. Between your white Turbobuick and "TTypewhite", I think that you guys have the two most beautiful cars on the forum. I knew that you would be happy with the 16" rims when you cornered the car. Quite a difference in handling, huh? Impressive car, Robert, no doubt about it. I am definitely green with envy. Or is it white sith envy?
