GTA Wheels - Tire Sizes

I just bought a set of GTA (4-front), 16x8 wheels from a fellow member.
Need to decide on tire sizes for them.

The more agressive the look the better.

'87 GN is stock suspension (except went with Moog cargo springs in rear),and every last bushing nut and bolt is brand new. No notch or fender trim or roll.

Since these wheels are all 4-fronts, with the 4.75" B.S. I am "thinking":

- BFg g-Force Sport 245/50/16 in Front
- BFG g-Force Sport 255/50/16 in Rear

Don't plan to run spacers if I can get away with it.

Questions:
- Rubbing issues?
- Bigger in Rear? Who makes & what size?

Pics would be great...general comments?

Those tire sizes are pretty much standard for what guys are running on their cars. Im running 245/50/16's all around as I wanted to be able to rotate my tires correctly and im lowered about 1" in front and .5" in the rear. Since your suspension is relatively "new" I think you would be good running those tires or even gettting away with running a size bigger both front and rear.

Should work fine, those are the tire sizes used on the GNX. I have 16x8 wheels to install this spring, not GTAs, but I am going with 245 & 255 as well. Finding 275s for 16" wheels can be difficult, 295s are the most readily available if you want to have wider tires in back, but they might rub.
