Gun Safe Questions ???

I have an American Security (Amsec) safe. I am very happy with it. It will hold 27 long guns and is fire rated. I paid $800 for it at Galyans, it was on sale. It is very nice inside and out and has all of the best security features available. HTH. A gun safe is a very good investment in my opinion, remember you can store more than guns in it. I would recommend spending the extra money to get a fire rated safe.

If you have the proper drill bits for drilling hardened steel (they usually put hardened anti-drill plates over the locking mechanism), and you have templates handing for the location of where the safe manufacturer put their relocker mechanisms, he would be right on the money-- you could open it in a very short amount of time without too much difficulty.
