...remove your PM brake pressure switch. I believe in the right tool, but I'll be damned if I can find a 1-1/2" sending unit socket. And an open end wrench is so damned long I'm afraid I won't be able to swing it. Is this damned switch hand tight, or what? What the hell did you use on it?

Thanks for your ideas...

Umm..channel locks :)

1. The 'Ugly' method works perfectly, provided you can control your squeeze power.

2. I wonder if the $5 GM oil pressure socket wouldn't slip right over that baby?

Ugly, Jim, uglyyyyyyyyyy...

Anybody else?

Yea but it aint that tight. Once you crack it loose, it comes out by hand. Install is the same, run it down by hand then a little hrmmph with the channel locks. The O-ring seals it, not the threads

Worled for me 2 or 3 times.

The oil pressure switch 1-1/16, the brake pressure switch is 1-1/2...

See you Saturday, John...

Powermaster brake switch 15-20 ft. lb.s.

Use your hands. ;)

Large adjustable or Robogrip might work. :)
