Meh, I bid on them anyways but the reserve is too high. Damn you eBay! Always makes me buy sh!t I can't afford.

I got my set for 350, then I had to buy the cable, modify the trans bracket, buy a repop dust seal, have BFH make me up a cover plate, buy a new set of knobs, fabricate a mounting bracket and install them. When said and done, I think I had around 500 in the whole setup not counting irreversibly modifying my stock console. AND, it took me a week of evenings to install them.

Really cool looking I think, some disagreed but anything is better than the stock shifter. One thing though, don't plan on them being great speed shifters. The action is a bit cranky. That was one of my favorite things about the car though. They look great to me. Definetly something to differentiate your car from the crowd.

Yeah a friend of mine just bought a wrecked H/O for the rear and the rods, but after getting a chance to play with them they aren't that cool. We are going to disassemble them and grind a taper on the stops so that you don't have to push those stupid buttons down to upshift it. I can't believe they were designed that way. No way in hell would you want to try to speed shift those things when your engine is at redline. Kinda funny how the only thing those cars were known for doesn't work like it should. Here's what's left of the car: http://jacq.org/hurst/

Hey Bob, I noticed the car is in KC. I'm also in KC and was wondering what you might want for the hood scoops and the rear spoiler.:)
