Anyone used these? I done searches but found to be more for Eurpean cars.

I heard these spacers are one of the best spacers available, not cheap like those Mr. Gasket spacers. These spacers are also hub sentric.

I was thinking on going with a 15x8 Welds with a 4.5 bs. And getting a 1/2" H&R wheel spacer making it a 4" bs, so don't have to worry about getting into the frame and too close to the fender well. But this is just a idea that a friend gave me that he does on his Vette.

Did you ever find out about these? I'm looking for something like this also. Can we use the same spacers as Camaros?

Greg

My question is why can't Weld and other wheel manufacturers offer more options for backspacing? I called Weld to see if they would custom make Draglites in a 4" backspacing and got a big NO from them.

They make a 3.5" BS in that wheel. Maybe you can try those so you won't need spacers..

I'm running the 3.5" backspacing on a 8" wheel with no problems 275/60's.
I have a friend that did just what your talking about, he wasn't happy with the run of the mill spacers. I had 4 junk aluminum drums cut down to use as spacers for him. they worked like a champ, but you'll need the longer wheel studs....

Remember a potential problem when using spacers with stock studs. There is more bending force on the studs and less threads engaged.

You mean can we use the same wheel spacers as the ones in the Camaro's? Yes, its the same bold pattern.

Only ones that I know of that do custom backspacing is Centerline.

hub size

Since the H&R spacers are hub-centric. Are the hub sizes between camaro/corvettes the same as our buicks?

I'm not too shure on that, check out Atomics they bring those H&R wheel spacers. There is a guy next door to our shop in town that has a Vette that are using these spacers, i'll ask him on thursday.

I agree with U1ARUNIT. Buy wheels with 3 and 1/2 inch backspace and eliminate the spacer.
