lol ya have to give it to these ricers, half of the engines on that site have blown up and most dont run but its some pretty damned funny reading material. one of the guys on there is trying to use a turbo off of a 9 second integra:D

Those pictures sure epitomize the "ol' ricer."
"Where does this thing go?" Butchered wiring hanging all over the place,
"Did I put this on right?" If it doesn't come off immediately...BREAK IT!
The end results of another succesful ricer mod!

Idiots..

After a long night of getting everything mounted, it was done. The oil return was the biggest pain. I was so excited it was done, I just threw on a flexible exhaust piping for my charge pipe. Being incredibly excited about this whole thing, I went out and drove the **** out the car. It was very fast, I had no idea how much boost I was running, I had No fuel or spark managment, No blow off valve, No intercooler. Just nice hot air from the turbo. Plus the wastegate modifaction that I did was working incorrectly, the arm was cocked funny and wasnt opening the gate all the way. Thus giving me more boost than I wanted. In a matter of 24 hours I had destroyed this motor. (yes 24 hours) 1 ****ing day. All the piston ring lands broke and the head gasket was toast. When I tore down the motor I was in complete disguest. I told myself I would NEVER boost another honda engine again...

This is Beau Garrisons (b16a) 88 Crx Si. After blowing up his Homemade Turbo project on his ZC (On X-mas) He installed a B16a.

Beau was very unhappy with this whole kit, all the money and time and it was slow as ****. He even ended up blowing his b16a! with only 3 psi.

----------------------------------------------------
After I blew the D15b2 at some local street races I got my hands on another D15b2 (dx motor)

-----------------------------------------------------
I started to get a bit cocky, and I wanted more boost, me and Mike G were playing around with a homemade boost controller that really sucked ass, and hit 16 psi by accident and the bottom end let loose I snapped cylinder #1 rod and blew the main girdle. It was very embarrassing.

A couple months later I was out street racing and trying to see how fast it could go top end and blew the little D15b2, I broke 2 rods right in half! I put way to much of a load on the engine at to low of an RPM. Check out blown motors for some great pics!

i took them pictures along with some of the pictures of there blown engines. i went in to aol chat rooms and asked if any one could look at my pictures, i told them i put a turbo on my moms car and it blew up:D most got a laugh but i actually had 2 people say to me that they were going or buy one and try it:rolleyes:

LMAO, I can't believe he won't ever blow a Honda again. Like it was the car's fault he screwed the pooch on it. "instructions, who needs instructions" with an attitude like that, he would have trouble with assembly on a zip tie. Mark :D

You forgot the "yeah right" part. While I too find many things at that site funny, one shouldnt post incomplete quotes to make them look worse.

ummmm, who cares, it AINT a big deal.

eather way that guy and beau, the "expert" who was helping him are dumb asses. hes blown 3 of his engines then gutted the car to make a full blown "400" hp drag car, he used a HUGE turbo off of a 9 second integra thats about as big as his engine with unknown specs, this is on a stock engine btw.

beau blew 1, never got one running right, and never finished the 3d one:rolleyes:

I should have known I would find a baseball hat put on backwards on Johnny engineer in those pics.

If and I mean if that was me, I would not put it on the internet for the world to see.
