Ty,

You guys miss out on other fun stuff like mud slides, earthquakes, fires that blot out the skys for weeks. Did I mention tsunami warnings?

Stay dry.

Can you imagine the wall of water that went thru the camping site in Ark!!
They said the river stage was just over 3 ' when the rain began, and 8 hrs later was right at 24'!!
No cell communications there.. Those poor folks didn't stand a chance....

The trick is to not be in their way. So when you hear the siren, try to be in California or New England.

Except if you live out in the country, you will not have sirens and you will not know if one is coming or not, unless if you have a NOAA weather radio.

JDG where in Kansas are you?

North Central Kansas... Right down hiway 36 3 hours west of St Joe.

Exactly 1/2 way between KC and Denver on the Kansas/Nebraska border.

I left KC yesterday at 4:30 to head home and it was humid as **** in KC.

man thats crazy! We are under a flood watch here in the pan handle of Nebraska working a hail storm in Scottsbluff. Its hailed on us 2 times since we have been here!

I used to work at the JD Dealerships out there and lived in Gering:p Can direct ya to some good watering holes if ya need lol...

If you get close to Kansas let me know bud.

Kansas..... had a funnel cloud go right over the top of us and turn in to a nice little twister that touched down about a quarter mile away when i was stationed at Ft Riley. Luckly no one was in the way of that one. That was definatley interesting to say the least.

just stock the golf course & baseball field with some bass and make the best of it, no really take care guys
