I don't listen to rap anymore, but when I was in high school tupac was a very talented artist. Hip hop is like most other music, all the talent is long gone. If you want good rap you need 90's rap LOL.

RIP 2Pac another great Gemini.

My Ma always said if you dont have nothing positive to say... just STFU.
haha.. I had a rough childhood. But glad I was young enough to appreciate real Hip Hop.

Remember the little accident with the pistol down the front of his pants.

Technically he was OnePac before he died.

respect for what? a middle class ballet dancing kid that pretended he was a hardcore thug, associated with the wrong people, and got his ass shot as a result?

He was HARDLY middle class... Ever heard of a scholarship? He was dirt poor and came from parents who were in the BLACK PANTHERS. Pretty sure his militant attitude had a little to do with that. As far as associating with the wrong people, that is indeed the reason for his early demise.

This isn't 8 Mile...... It's a well known fact that he was shot in the groin during an attempted robbery in NY in 94. ONE MAN TRIED TO PROVE HIS THEORY of Tupac shooting himself which was disproven by the hospital that tried him. To say this man was flawed in an understatement, however, to call him anything less then a genius is ignorant too. EVEN IF he was all the things you all say, he's done more for the world then most likely ANY of US are going to. His family is taken care of I'd guess fairly easily for the next several generations... Sounds like he did well to me. Let the man RIP.

There's no such thing as "good rap".

Will Smith don't gotta cuss on his raps to sell records...........

Oh and the sugarhill gang. The epic song that brought about the hip hop revolution. Clean as a whistle. Makes me want to dance and karaoke to all 17 minutes of it.

I haven't looked but i'd bet money that 10 minutes with google would turn up some christian hip hop. Bet that stuff is HOPPIN'!

Well, "good" is a relative term, isn't it?

Thus, some rap songs can be better than others. (Although to me, it would be "some rap songs suck less than others").

Nothing like crusin to some good tunes with a little thump in the trunk.... Long as it ain't devil worshipping and it sounds good why does it matter where it came fromo_O

I listen to Tupac, Hank Williams Jr, too Metallica.... It's all good:D
