Business is picking up...signing a nice marketing contract this week with a good sized client. He has already assured me the contract is won at the price I have set and is looking forward to getting started. They are drawing up the NDA and routing my service contract for approval right now.
Cool thing about this deal is it ties me into a large network of established business owners who have very strong marketing budgets, understand the value proposition of my marketing services, and like to share their sources, so this is big time and what I've been working for over the last 6 months.
Three more contracts just like this one, and my old multi-six salary and bonus package will be replaced and then some...
Three more contracts like this one is a veeeeeery modest goal that will certainly be surpassed.
The other cool thing is this plays nicely into the other business I started up 4 months back in Insurance and Securities. I'm licensed now, and am marketing these products B2B (and to families as well) and to these clients. What that means is winning contracts for their employee Life Insurance and 401K programs. The commissions I'll earn on these programs are....big...
So the business plan I've been working on is coming together nicely.
