Brakes work fine as long as you are gently pressing the pedal, but if you jam on the brakes real hard or fast...the pedal bearly moves for about 2-3 seconds and then finally it moves. No brake light, but i suspect the bulb is burned out. Any suggestions?

Man ! i gotta take advice from a Steelers fan !! J/K

subscribing, i've had a similar problem but i my brake light comes on. i suspect the powermaster but i don't know much about them. let's hear what the experts have to say.

stagemaster, are you in the pitt area?

You need to go through the diagnostic tree and make sure.

Agreed on the accumulator ball. Usually real hard pedal then goes to the floor.

Yes, it's the accumuator.
I had the exact same issue back before my unit finally died.
But my unit was original with well over 100k miles and wasn't maintained.
It's what started my knowledge of the PowerMaster.
