Has anyone had a problem with too big of a fuel return line?

I have to double check, but I think I have a -10 feed and return (If not it's -8 for both). It seems like just about everyone runs a smaller return. Is there a reason for this? A member informed me that a too large return can cause fuel pressure fluctuations which I am currently experiencing. Anyone else run into a similar issue?

I think your problem is elsewhere.... the return line is only used for fuel that wasn't needed to maintain the rail pressure..... period.... I can see no disadvantage by making the return bigger. If it were too small.... then this could cause spikes in pressure, but too big shouldn't cause any issues IMHO.

I'd be looking at my FP regulator, the vacuum line going to it..... or the FP itself or associated wiring/grounds.

your fuel system should be setup with a smaller return to keep pressure on the line, you typically would run a -10 feed and a -8 return. I personally like a -8 feed and just use my stock return.

Wow interesting just googled and searched some quick references and i stumbled upon this see below link.., it states im incorrect that fuel return line can be bigger, im not sure about that, but i can tell you one thing i have never had a problem with fuel NEVER doing it the way i was taught with a smaller return..

Yeah I really doubt that's the issue...most people go smaller to save a few bucks and a few pounds.
