Anyone haul a closed trailor with an Nissan Armada?
They clain 9100 pounds hauling, about the same as a Tahoe. I have a good deal on a local Armada and like the vehicle.

Plan to haul a closed trailor and 87 GN and some tools. Prob will get a Featherlite all aluminum one when funds avail or find a good used one.
I know gas mileage will suffer but will this SUV do the job?

I can't get a diesel f250 which I what I want for numerous reasons.
Have to get an SUV that can hold Seven People and will have to be my daily driver year round.
Will only tow 6-7 times a year 1 to 6 hour trips.

Thanks

Good gas mileage &
Nissan can't be used in the same sentence.

Diesel is the way to go. F250, F350, F450, F650 & Chevy/GMC with Allison tranny are advertising 21+k tow capacity.

'09 and up Suburban with a 6 spd auto. I just bought one, but yeah I'll have to get a lightweight alum open trailer for towing. The GMC Yukon XL has a 6L option over the Suburban 5.3L

I can't say for sure but my experience tells me foreign trucks and heavy loads = burnt tranny...

There was a recall for brakes and something else. Make sure it's been done. The rotors were warping quickly.

They're big and comfortable, my brother in law had one. He never towed but definitely had the power to. Go to a dealer and take a test drive to your house and hook up the trailer.

ive got a trailblazer that is rated to tow 6800 i wouldnt tow with it. I just got a great deal on a featherlite keep looking deals do come up.

get one like this an u can tow with the nissan . those inclosed trailers are heavy and hard to open doors in.
