Hey, all you turbo Buicks. The Fastest Streetcar Shootout is coming up on March 23. The classes for your turbo Buicks will be EZ Street, which is headsup, and the domestic bracket. Don't forget, Jason is offering a free runcard for the April 6 Pro Import race to any High Tech type car that runs in the Shootout. Although my car is still not running, I will be down there to make sure that the "High Tech" end gets taken care of. So, get them ready, get them tuned and let's have a great race. Aloha, Ernie.

Another MISS

It looks like another Fastest Streetcar Competition that I get to SPECTATE. My intake is on the way and should be here Friday/Saturday, and it looks like my wheels are on the way too. But NO TRANNY/CONVERTER!!! Bruce still hasn't gotten my converter yet. Damn, I should have just stuck with the Art Carr converter I had and I would have the tranny by now. Oh well, I guess I look forward to the import race. But I WILL be there to spectate!!!

I'm planning to be there. Is there going to be a Turbo class again? If not, guess I'll just run in the brackets. Hey wait, that's what the Turbo class turned out to be last time! Jackson, are you going to run your car?

I think there should be a Turbo class. Same like the previous shoot-out. I might be there, but have some repairs to do. Got to replace my drivers side exaust manifold (waiting to have it rewelded) and turbo inlet gasket is leaking.

2 weeks and counting for the Shootout. NO, there will not be a "Turbo" class. Once again, the 2 classes that your cars would fit into are Domestic Quick 8 and Domestic Bracket. Cars trying for the Quick 8 and don't make it will be placed into the Bracket.

This is how Jason wants to handle the free runcard for the April 6 Pro Import for High Tech racers that run in the Shootout. Keep your timeslips from the Shootout and take them with you to the April 6 Pro Import race. Show your timeslip at the gate for the free runcard. They will also have a list of names from the Shootout as Jason works that race and get the names of everyone that races. If you have any questions, email me at elum@mindwind.com.
