Head lights wont turn off

Just messing around and listening to the radio and the head lights and interior lights will not turn off. I dont get it.
I had to disconnect the battery to turn everything off. anybody know how to fix this issue?

I would start at the switch take off the bezel then pull out the switch take a look unplug it plug it back on my it will start working. but also look at the wires at the back of the plug maybe some have bad insulation.making contact with other wires .if it all looks good then maybe your switch is bad.
