I'm just getting ready to do a head re torque on my new motor after putting it through a few good head cycles and some moderate boost. In the past I've always had to pull the headers to get proper access to the studs. While the headers (TA Perf) are off the car I'm thinking of machining the header flanges to allow me to access to the studs without pulling the headers. I did a quick search and didn't come up with much. Anyone done this? Any tips/tricks?

Thanks,

For years we "trimmed" header flanges and the gasket for header bolt access. :)
