head studs won't loosen

I'm going to be replacing both headgaskets and in trying to loosen the studs, am afraid to break the allen wrench on the stud. Short of removing the engine to replace the head gaskets, is there an easier way? How about removing the heater box and brake booster(vac brakes)? Any tips to try to remove the head studs before I go through all this trouble?

Just tried them after a few days and got them to break loose. Sure is scary to watch the allen wrench bend like that though. Wonder if it may be better to use a 1/4 ratchet and a 3/16 allen bit...

That's what I use taking them out. Much easier.
