Head stud question

Simple but basic. I plan on using studs on my heads but are the 12 point better than the 6 point nuts? I can get them fairly cheap but for a difference of $16 is there enough of a difference to go with the 12 point nuts?

Whichever works for you, they both work. I prefer the 6 point myself and I use ARP.

I like the 12 point just because they clear the oil pan nice at the number 4 main studs where alot of guys have had issues of the pan hitting the 6 point nuts there.
