does anyone know where the best place is to find a nice pair of headers for my 84 t type?

You will either have to build them yourself or have them built. No one is making them at this point.:frown:

Hey Charlie...

Is it that much more to just swap over to the 86/7 headers and make the pipe to the throttle body if the i/c is not uesd?

We have a fixture to make 84-5 headers, but there is very little demand, and a quantity of 1 is not cheap. :)

If we did 5 sets, they could be priced reasonably, but it would require they be pre-sold for this to happen. The price then would be close to the AZGN/TA stainless performance headers.

Since the driver side header is the same as 86-7, that header would be an improved 3 into one design.

We would not use the stock-type flanges for the crossover, they would be stainless band clamps like we do on most headers, including 86-7 GN.

Thanks for ...

the reply Nick, that info should be of help for the 84/5 guys w/header problems.

Glad to know the info I sent you work out Nick. Like I said. there isn't that much of a difference between the two and I'd honestly like to see if you could just do the drivers side and a new crossover. That by itself would be more than enough for most of the guys using a HA system.

So about 700$ for the kit of the driver side, passenger side, and crossover pipes? So for all upgraded exhaust I would be in like the 1400$ range (Gbody DP, and Jay's up). and it is in stainless right? Hmmm Maybe for a little cheaper I would be in. Anyone want to do a 10+ group purchase lol?
