I've read the other posts on removing the headliner on a CF5 car, but was looking for some confirmation before it reach a point of no return.

I need to pull the headliner out to have some hail damage repaired. My headliner has been recovered and is in excellent condition. It appears to have been glued underneath the chrome trim. Is there a way to remove chrome trim of the opening ? If not, i'll have to either ruin the headliner, or repair my dents some other way.

Thoughts ?

bump..... anyone ? Looks like this trim ring is split in the back, and could be pulled out at the split. .... but not without ruining the HL

It depends on if the trim ring is glued in. Neither of mine are glued. They are merely pressed in.
Either way just take your time and be careful.
