HEARTLAND PARK - Race under the lights Friday night. Gates open 5:00pm. Qualifying times: 6:00pm, 7:00pm, 8:00pm. Camping available at no charge outside gates. Check with Heartland Park for inside gate camping


RULES:
ALL CARS MUST BE LICENSED AND INSURED.
ALL CARS MUST HAVE STREET TYPE EXHAUST (NO HEADER MUFFLERS). 3.5" DIA. MAX. OR 4.5" DIA FOR SINGLE EXHAUST (EXAMPLE: TURBO CAR)
NO DELAY BOXES, THROTTLE STOPS, DATA-LOGGERS OR ANY OTHER BRACKET RACING TYPE AIDS WILL BE ALLOWED ON ANY CAR.
ALL CARS MUST HAVE WORKING HEADLIGHTS, TAILLIGHTS IN THE FACTORY LOCATION.
ALL CARS MUST HAVE A PASSENGER SEAT.
ALL CARS MUST BE SELF STARTING WITH A WORKING CHARGING SYSTEM.
CONTINGENCY STICKERS ARE RESTRICTED TO THE GLASS OF THE CAR.
YOU MAY ONLY DRIVE ONE CAR AND RECEIVE POINTS FROM THAT CAR DURING A RACE.
THE CAR YOU QUALIFY IN IS THE CAR YOU HAVE TO RUN THROUGHOUT ELIMINATIONS.
NO DEEP STAGING IS ALLOWED.
ALL CARS MUST PASS KCIR SAFETY INSPECTION AND ALL DRIVERS MUST WEAR A HELMET.
LEGALITY OF THE CAR IS THE FINAL DECISION OF THE HEADS-UP OFFICIALS.

ENTRY FEE IS $25.00.

ALL CLASSES WILL RUN A 1/4 MILE ON A .400 PRO TREE.

CARS WILL BE QUALIFIED INTO ONE OF THE ABOVE CLASSES.

THERE WILL BE 3 QUALIFYING ROUNDS. EVERY CAR MUST MAKE AT LEAST 1 QUALIFYING PASS. THE QUALIFYING ET'S WILL BE USED TO CLASSIFY THE CARS.

AFTER QUALIFYING IS FINISHED, THE #1 QUALIFIER'S ET IN EACH CLASS WILL BE .14 TO .2 SECONDS QUICKER THAN THE #1 QUALIFYING TIME OF EACH CLASS AND NEITHER THE BREAKOUT NOR THE #1 QUALIFYING TIMES WILL BE POSTED, ONLY THE TOWER WILL KNOW. THIS WILL HELP DETER SANDBAGGERS AND CARS BEING TUNED TO AN INDEX. EXAMPLE: LET'S SAY THE #1 QUALIFIER FOR KWIK STREET IS 11.42 . THE BREAKOUT ET WOULD BE 11.22. ANYONE RUNNING QUICKER WOULD BE DISQUALIFIED. IF THIS HAPPENS IN THE FINAL, THE WINNER AND R.U. PURSE FOR THAT CLASS WILL CARRY OVER AND BE ADDED TO THE NEXT RACE. AFTER THE CONCLUSION OF THE RACE THE #1 QUALIFIER AND THE BREAKOUT ET FOR EACH CLASS WILL BE AVAILABLE.

AN UNCONVENTIONAL BRACKET SYSTEM WILL BE USED TO LADDER THE CARS FOR ELIMINATIONS. THIS LADDER WILL BE USED TO HELP PARITY AND ALLOW SLOWER CARS IN THE CLASS AN OPPORTUNITY TO GO TO THE MONEY ROUNDS. #1 AND #2 QUALIFIERS WILL ALWAYS BE SET ON OPPOSITE SIDES OF THE LADDER.

RULES MAY BE ADDED TO OR CLARIFIED AT VAMP'S DISCRETION.
