Heat Shield- where does it go?

Hello All-
So I thought I had pictures of everything......but apparently not. This is off my 85, and I can't figure out for the life of me where it goes. Anyone know?
Note the two different attachment points.

Thats the shield that connects to the passenger valve cover to keep heat down from up pipe. It also attaches to alternator bracket or alternator, dont remember.

one of the hardest pieces to find
