Heat wave....

I know I complained about all the rain we have been getting in the northeast. But from rain to a heat wave! Well, I guess it's better than rain. But, I do need a couple of days with cooler temperatures for Test and Tune.

I hear ya man...........was hoping to take the GN down to Etown tomorrow night cause I havent been out with it all year due to everytime I want to go its been raining. So it figures when the rain stops on comes the heat and humidity.........oh well maybe it will be cooler next Wednesday.

scan master said that the air tempature sensor was reading 142 in the drive through at the bank.

nuts huh? but that was also inside the engine compartment.

You think you have it bad here try Saudi Arabia or Qatar for a few months. I just got back, was 125 degrees there. Next month it should hit 140 from what I hear.

Try mixing CONCRETE the old fashion way in wheelbarrel.

I think my sweat supplied 1/2 the water to mix those 80 lbs bags with this heat.

5 bags per step = 2 steps That is a lot of water.

Maybe Friday night Richie? If it's set to rain on Saturday maybe it'll be cooler on Friday.

This weather just doesn't make me want to put the engine and trans back in FUR, what's the point? Aarrgghh…

It's hot down here in FLA too. It has been raining pretty much everyday for a while now...especially on weekends! We have that "wet" humid heat down here. You know...90 but it feels like 105!! I have a temp gauge I got from my roomy that clips into the air vents. With windows up all day it was hitting just under 150....in the car!! And of course...a few monthes ago my A/C compressor decided it had done enough work...and retired!!

Actually, I'm surprised.. here in Germany we have beautiful weather.. not too hot, no rain. Very strange for Germany. But I'll be back in the states soon... Just in time for the summer swelter.

Tomorrow is suppose to be 96 with a heat index of 110 here in Jersey.

Weather is looking up though. Initially Saturday was suppose to be rainy now they are saying sunny and 83 so should be a great day, certainly in the morning it'll be turbo weather since it should drop into the 60's Friday night.

Naturally I have family stuff and will be tied up all weekend, have to travel 170 miles up to Albany.... Could have taken the streetcar down to play around and work on reaction time!

i hear ya man, down here in so. fl we are feeling the same thing.

it gets so hot that the 'hard' plastic part of the dash 'warps' up about 1.5 inches during the day when the windows are up. but for some reason the screws are missing out of there, but its still kinda odd to see the dash warp like that. i'll take a picture to show you what i mean exactly. i have no air either, it sucks

Directed especially for the northeast viewers that are upset because of our heatwave: Wow, this post sounds just like what the weathermen on TV and alot of others around my area are doing. Piss'n and moaning even NOW! Nobodys satisfied I guess. Sooooooo soon they forget! Im from Massachusetts and we are now going into our 3rd day of our heatwave(+ 90's temps). You know what? I F&*kin LOVE IT. Wish it would stay for a while. WE DESERVE THIS for the suck weather weve had here. Been really freezing from OCT thru our extremly long friggin winter with tons of snow til April. Then it warms up "a little"(avg temp 20 degrees below average in the area for months) and rains almost constantly thru miserable MAY til up thru half of JUNE. We finally got some decent weather consistantly a week or so ago then Summer hits this past Sat and we are now in a heat wave. Im really amazed it came ON TIME. Sure it may be hot and muggy now but would you rather have freezing temps, tons of snow, then raining constantly some more with more misery hmmmmm? Will that cool you off? We only have a few precious months up here at least thats really nice that we can do anything with our cars etc... CHERISH THIS and have fun finally. Sorry for the rant. Just amazed at how many people wanted this weather (even at the beginning of June) now are bitchin about the heat as well. Hope to see the ones who appreciate our nice weather at some car shows real soon. Ill be there. Enjoy! STEVE Z

Actually I'm in Rota, Spain. That's near Cadiz. About an hour away from Sevilla and a few hours north of Gibralter on the Atlantic Coast. Looks like I'll be here for the next 70 some days

Sure would like to be in Germany right about now...
