We finally got some decent weather consistantly a week or so ago then Summer hits this past Sat and we are now in a heat wave. Im really amazed it came ON TIME. Sure it may be hot and muggy now but would you rather have freezing temps, tons of snow, then raining constantly some more with more misery hmmmmm? Will that cool you off? We only have a few precious months up here at least thats really nice that we can do anything with our cars etc... CHERISH THIS and have fun finally. Sorry for the rant. Just amazed at how many people wanted this weather (even at the beginning of June) now are bitchin about the heat as well. Hope to see the ones who appreciate our nice weather at some car shows real soon. Ill be there. Enjoy! STEVE Z

I didn't wish for this, I wished for cool dry weather. I’m not too picky! J I love snow, rather have it than rain. I just totally hate rain. Really hot is OK. I don't show any of the GN's but I do show my Camaro and it's too damn hot for that. Unless it's a close show damn thing would probably overheat. I think it goes to show how much of a factor leaded fuel actually had. My car is 100% blue printed back to stock including cooling system and I get really hot in 90+ temperatures. It's OK on the highway with all the air flow but I just can't stop otherwise the temp gauges just goes up! Only thing different from 1969 till now with that car is the fuel. Oh yeah, I pulled out the stock 180 degree thermostat and put in a 145 degree, only made a little difference in the heat.

I have to agree with SLZ. People here are work were complaining about all the rain. All the news channels focussed stories on rain. Now 3 days of hot weather and people are complaining about the heat. Not everyone mind you but most people. Some people are just impossible to please. Personally I would take a 75', cool, crisp fall day (I think the GN prefers that as well) over anything but that will come in time. I am just happy I can cut my grass without having to wait for the rain to stop for 2 hours and rush out and cut it before it starts raining again.

pretty darn hot over here in the sand box. it is either hot as hell, hot and humid, or both w/ sand/dust storms. suxxxx! i think i will be wearing a jacket when i get back. talk about farmers tan too. got a really bad one. 8 more days and counting baby!

You guys on the East Coast aren't the only ones sufferin'. It's 105 where I am today, but at least that's dry heat. San Francisco hit 97 an all-time record. That's insane for S.F.

Well, the weather has broken with 90+ days. Probably will hit the local track tomorrow (E-town or LI Motorsports Park). Anyone going?

Damn, that's strange. Never seen something like that. You said the screw is either gone or broke through? I think you probably need to call up Kirban and get a new dash and paint. One of these days I'll replace mine. Damn speaker grills are cracked. Don ask me how that happens on an 18K mile car that has been garage kept...
