Heater won't work, and car running hot

My GN's heater no longer blows hot, or even luke warm for that matter. The engine temp is now 220 or so, previously 190 or so. This all happened pretty recently.

35,000 mile GN. 160 deg T-stat, stock mostly.

One of the symptoms of very low coolant level is no heater

The coolant level is too low to be circulated through the heater core. Might not be that simple, but then again..... I've seen it dozens of times.

If the coolant level is ok your Thermostat is stuck closed. Change it..
