I was wondering if you could work the system so that when one clicks on the "Printer friendly" link to print a thread the system will automaticlly lock out the signatures.

I ask this because when I have printed in this manner I burn up alot of paper on members signatures alone.

Ask and ye shall receive...at least in this case...

This takes a few steps but gets the job done...

1) Click the "User CP" button at the top.

2) On the next page, click "Edit Options" from the horizontal menu.

3) On the next page, scroll down about halfway to the "Thread View Options" section. The first option in that category is "Show user's signatures in their posts?". Change that to "no" and then click the "Submit Modifications" button at the bottom.

Now no one's sig will load, even on the printer friendly pages. Cool, eh?
