***Help****98 Olds Cutless No Start

I bought this car for my son a couple of week ago. It ran fine when I bought it. Lately it's been giving my son some problems starting. Sometime it won't start then sometimes it does does start. That was before a couple of days ago. Now it won't start at all.

It's getting fuel but, no fire. Does anyone have any idea whats wrong. What to look at? What to try? It's a 3.1 V6.

I work with a guy that had a 98 and he had similiar problems and think it was his coilpack or something with the ignition...

I had a 1998 98 Olds that had that problem. It was years ago and from what I remember it was a sensor located behind the timing chain cover. I think it was the cam sensor.

Im sure it's ignition i just don't have any scan tools for this car to check anything.
