I've heard our GN brakes are likely to fail -- it was my turn.

Driving tonight my brake (idiot) warning light came on. Immediately after

I lost the brakes. Not 100% , luckily I could crawl home at 30mph and had

enough braking power to make it safely. Thank the driving gods for looking

after my GN. :)

QUESTION: What is the part I'll need to replace? ? ? :(

No fluid leakage of any sort visible. -- I was only one block from my

Buick dealer, but if I parked it on a Saturday night, I'm certain it would be

gone by Monday morning.

Well i parked mine for two weeks thinking the brakes were gone, until i learned i had to pump the brakes 10times(ign off) then check fluid level, i had a leak under the car, at the proportion valve.

Before you know what part you need to replace, you have to diagnose it.

Read here: Brake System

In other words, you need to time your PowerMaster to determine if you just need to replace the accumulator or the entire unit.

Let me know if I can be of any assistance.

Check your brake fuse first in the fuse box assembly and if blown, remember there is a reason for that. Then do your troubleshooting per the links provided.
