It's an '87 GN with a stroker motor built by Weber racing. If you need the specifics of the motor etc., I can provide them. We are spraying methanol using Razor's kit and running 93 octane. The problem is that the car is always showing some knock. I have attached 3 powerlogger files. LogFile2 had the meth set at 6.0, file 3 at 6.5 and file 4 at 7.0. As you will see, each pull showed knock. Since we've already blown the head gaskets twice, we are very cautious and lift as soon as knock appears. On one run at the track (sorry don't have that in powerlogger file) knock went to 2.6 at 15 lbs of boost on the scanmaster. Also, when we turned the meth to 7.0 there was more knock.
Have had several people (local experts) work on the car but we seem to always have some knock. Any ideas? We have another local expert looking into it but I would like to get other ideas. Another question, can we run race gas when the chip is programmed for 93 octane?

It would help to have a WB sensor hooked up to tell the AFR readings , I think raising the alky set numbers higher make the alky kick in later in the boost , that is not what you want , I would read Razors instructions and set up again to make sure .

BLM's are 134...so the ECM is adding fuel. Check for exhaust/vacuum leaks...and make sure your fuel pressure is rising with boost. I agree with the above poster...make sure your alky is set up correctly.

Make sure the knock sensor is not over torqued. 14 ft lbs. Was the knock sensor replaced when the new engine was installed?

Fuel pressure was rising with boost. Have to check if alky set up correctly,

The knock sensor was installed after the new engine was installed.
