The left upper door panel gets soaked during a rain. It looks like it may have damaged the dash facing the panel. It seems like the water appears just below the half way point on the windshield pillar but I can't figure how it is getting in???

TIA,

You are going to have to look behind the roof rail weatherstrip. The A-pillar has a habit of rusting behind the weatherstrip and retainer there. Bad news if it is rust because that can get expensive to repair. If no evidence of rust than you can put some weatherstrip adhesive between the retainer and body and between the weatherstrip and retainer. You probally should do this for the entire length of the weatherstrip. Rain and water takes gravitys course and runs from the top along the A-pillar and any open cavity along the path will allow water to accumulate. Eric Fisher
