great start!!!! make sure you get that fuel pump upgrade, and after that, the biggies begin!!! porting should be on the back of your mind, and exhaust should be the next big step...getting a better down-pipe/header combo will significanlty increase performance. Postons has a nice set of headers (i have them) and they are supposedly good for 1-3 tenths in the 1/4? I hear all different gains, but i do know this....
november 2000, fridaynight test and tune...my 84 ttype ran 13.89 at 98 with: poston headers....ported exhaust elbow....accufab adjustable fpr...fuel pump and hot wire...kenne bell 93 chip...flex fan...160 stat...punched out cat...k&n cone filter...adj wastegate...a bunch of guages (boost, water/oil/tach) and that was it. nothing major like engine rebuilding or ported heads or even huge exhaust and alky....yet...... So...easy 13's with the basics done...once you get the basics tuned in well, save up some loot and get into the machining and the alky!!!!! i would invest the 450 when yuou do get it and go for the 3" dp from Mease, and alky for 400 from SMC or Razors, and definately get teh turbo upgraded...700-1000 depending...if you choose to go IC, the possibilities are only limited to your wallet size!!!!
Have a GN ite!!!!
