Help on finding new bolts for torque converter

Where is the best place to get new bolts for the stock converter?

I dont know about best but Summit carries these. I'm sure other places do as well.

I think I got mine off the peg board at Advance Auto Parts . If not there , Auto Zone .

These bolts are not correct for a stock GN converter, they use a special, hardened and flanged metric bolt.

Try the "Parts Wanted" forum to find the stock bolts, probably good, used ones, or new from a GM dealer.

The ones I used are flanged M10- 1.50 x 15 mm class 9.8 bolts .

No disagreement with you .

Genuine GM or ARP is always best .
