We were putting my timing cover back on and found a hair line crack in it at the bottom and also it looks like the last person that rebuilt it fixed it with JB weld and painted over it any body know what i should do. do i use more jb weld or replace the whole unit and if i must replace dose anybody have one with the high flow oil pump already built in
Thanks again all Vince

I had a cracked cover a long time ago. It was cracked around the 2nd bolt form the bottom on the right side. I just had it welded and it was good to go. High volume is not needed imo.

mine has a hair crack in it, but not damaged from an over tightened bolt or nothing. Its in a weird spot, I think it was cracked since it left the factory in 1987  seems like alot of the of the aluminum stuff is really weak, my belt tensioner cracked too, and the new water pump I have hanging out looks like its super fragil, oh well.
