K....I'm reinstalling the overrun assbly/shaft and pump. I've put the overrun assbly in the case and now must put the overdrive clutches/steels in. According to the video I'm following they state its....

Steel, clutch, 2 steels, clutch, thick pressure plate.

According to what I took out and originally was put in by Len (not available for me to ask right now) its....

Steel, clutch, steel, clutch, steel, clutch, thick pressure plate.

So I'm wondering if tranny builders stick a clutch in between the 2 steels where the video says theres 2 steels together? Or is the video wrong?

I'm trying to get this together asap so if anyone knows and can answer please do so tout suite. (Right away in French.)

Thanks so kindly.

Most builders cut the apply piston down and install an extra clutch in between the 2 steels. Just make sure you used the apply piston that was in the trans Len did for you and your good to go.

Thanks. Just got back in from the shop..I put it back like Len did it. And while I was waiting for a reply earlier I was thinking that if the clutches and steels fit back under the snap ring it must be right.

I'll put the tranny back in tomorrow and see what it's like with a Precision converter.
