(If anyone can host some pics... I have about 115 of them!)

On Tuesday, a 2000 Mitsubishi Galant came across the street and hit head on with my 1965 Impala Sport Sedan. Driven twice since a frame off restoration!!! If that's not bad enough, the Impala rammed into my 1984 cadillac lowrider!!! The driver of the mitsubishi got out and RAN! Luckily, the owners daughter was still in the passenger seat when I came around the corner in my T. I CANNOT find squat for monetary value of these cars. The 65 was for my daughter, when she graduates highschool and only had 82xxx on the body AND ORIGINAL 327. Granted she is only 7, but I've had that car for almost 10 years. The caddy fell into my lap, so I'm not TOO worried about it, but 39xxx original miles and an airride suspension kinda peturb me...
How can I go about this correctly?
Their ins. co. is waiting to interview the daughter to assess liability. The guy she had driving HIT TWO PARKED CARS!!! Parked correctly, with NO OTHER cars on the street!!! Now, I guess, I have an 87 T that's become a daily driver.

Can I charge them for wear and tear on my rocketbrick???

Provide the insurance company with pics, any receipts you have and do a search on the autotrader and get copies of ads that are like yours. Second have an appraiser look at the car. Even though wrecked he should be able to give you a fair price of the car before the accident. Is the vehicle insured with youe insurance? If so get the stated value off your insurance and also give that to them. This will usually end in a fair settlement. Do as much of the legwork as possible now. This way you can make sure they do not try to jew you down.
