help!!!!

So today i did the "f-body" rad in my gn,also installed a external trans cooler,now for the oil cooler,i removed the 2 lines by the oil filter and just installed 2 brass plugs,
-is it ok to do this?
-or should i just get the oil filter adaptor that just bolts to the block?

I believe everyone says to loop the lines NOT cap them.

Do a search for the proper information, it's got to be in tech. somewhere.

could not find anything about it?
i took the lines out and caped it right at the adaptor..if that makes sense??
