My dad just sent me these. What do get when you cross a Hennessey Twin Turbo Ford GT 1000...

With a cold interstate on-ramp and concrete culvert?

At least Ford GT's are worth so much that even wrecked it he can probably sell it for more than he has in it.

The story on this is a famous Omaha machine shop operator (that everyone in Omaha has heard of) was "trying out" his friends (maybe former friends?) GT1000 while he was out of town.

Near freezing temps make for more than the advertised 1000 HP, while they make the traction of summer tires go to near zero.

He was going backwards before he left the road (the dent in the passenger door is from a snowplow reflector on the side of the road).

Dad said the driver got a collapsed lung (supposedly wasn't wearing a seatbelt) and the owner canceled the planned trip to Barrett Jackson for him and the driver.

Of course it all could be just hearsay

With most rear/mid-engine cars is that they are ALOT harder to recover when you get out of shape due to most of the weight being over the rear. With high speeds those cars react MUCH different than a front engine RWD car! You hit the go pedal on a car like that you should really know how to drive.
