The FAST is real user friendly, if you have some basic ideas about tuning a car. You're starting in a real good place. A basic, simply modded car is a great place to learn from. I started with a stock block, TA 49, Houston 3", Hooker 2 1/2", FAST car and have gone to where I am now.

There's probably a good bit of information in the book above that will carry over to the FAST system. One of the designers of the DFI 6 went on to design the FAST. The little bit that I've done with the DFI 6, I noticed simalarities to the FAST. It would be worth reading. Plus Ray Bohacz is real knowledgable and writes well.
