Ever had the impression that we have people here in this forum that have dual personality ?? What i mean is that they have 2 or more registered user names !! That's how they get away with things that would'nt be appropriate as users here. I had an encounter with someone that seemed as a potential buyer, but he had 0 post !! and no location, no nothing ! He didn't reply publicly only by PM. He made so many questions !! All of them I answered except 1. He got upset because I did'nt supply him the serial # of the part I was selling. I inquiried him on what he wanted that 4 ? I had no response to that question and recieved a PM saying the deal was off !! I said GREAT !! cause I stand down to nobody much less if I have them in front of me !!! I don't know 4 sure what these people want but beware ! Anyone else has had a similar situation ??

I dont see the problem with what was asked by the buyer! Maybe if u mentioned what it was that he asked the serial number for, it might sound strange or maybe not. Maybe the buyer had something stolen and was attempting to track it down thru a serial number, or maybe he is just a careful buyer and the part U were selling had a specific issue on the early units produced. Good luck with the sale, and when it comes to being strange, they dont come too much worse than me .

If he would've told me from the begining what he wanted it for I would've provided the # but he just kept on avoiding the question and kept asking 4 it ! You cannot pretend asking so many questions and not answering only 1 question asked 2 u !! I understand clearly what u mean, I can be like that also !!

If you were selling me an engine block I would want to know the serial number.

If it was someone who had who has been on the board for more than one month or has more than 20 posts, I probably wouldn't.

All I see in the mirror is u "preaching morality in thongs" ! U keep bitching !! Now as 4 the engine block, that's a whole different ball game. U need the serial # in order to have it registered and be able to use it on the street ! It's a must 4 the deal !!
